Zion’s Serve Team is hosting another Saturday of Service on November 16, beginning at 8:30 am in the fellowship hall (church basement). We will meet for devotions, doughnuts, and details.
T-Shirts will be given to those who don’t already have one from a previous Saturday of Service. Please wear your shirt if you already have one. If your service opportunity is away from Zion, you will leave from here after the opening.

The service opportunities for this Saturday of Service are:

Bingo and Mingle – Lead Bingo games for nursing home residents, host photo booth, and visit with residents at Mercy Rehab and Care in Swansea (formerly Rosewood Village). All supplies provided. All ages welcome!

Leaf Raking – Help rake leaves for people who need some extra help or who are unable to rake. Bring a rake or leaf blower. Bags, gloves, and some rakes will be provided. All ages welcome!

Tie Blankets for Children in ICU’s – Make tie blankets that will go to the Colleen Nesbit Foundation to be delivered to children in the StL Crisis Nursery and ICU’s at Barnes. All supplies provided. All ages welcome! Will take place at Zion.

Bible for Prisoners – Highlight verses in Bibles that will be delivered to local prisons. Kids can color Bible coloring pages that will go in them. All ages welcome! Will take place at Zion.

It’s Your Birthday Inc. – Help with organizing supplies and possibly decorating their office. All supplies provided. Ages teen-adult (5 people needed).

Crafts for “Kids for Christ” – Help label, sort and pack crafts for “Kids for Christ” programs at local public schools. All supplies provided. All ages welcome! Will take place at Zion.

Community of Kindness Shop – Help count puzzle pieces or spray and comb stuffed animals that will be sold at the shop. All supplies provided. All ages welcome! Will take place at Zion.
